MoneySense school visits
The commitment and enthusiasm of bank staff volunteers who
deliver lessons has played a large part in the programme's success
to date.
These sessions are free and highly valued - both by the students
and as a boost to teachers' own delivery of personal finance.
Working with a bank volunteer generates new ideas, helps to focus
on the important issues and can even inspire teachers to run a
special event, for example a designated Enterprise or Money day or
week.
Alongside this interactive resource, the MoneySense for Schools
programme is supported by specially trained Ulster Bank volunteer
staff who deliver tailored sessions in schools in partnership with
teachers.
To request a visit by a MoneySense volunteer please email moneysense@ulsterbank.com
or call 00353 1 6084509. Our trained volunteers aim to support
teachers throughout Ireland and we will make every effort to meet
your needs.
Please note that there is a high demand for these visits and
they are subject to availability.
What teachers say about visits from the MoneySense team:
"I would say there will be fewer people going into debt because
of this programme - it's valuable, there's nothing else as good as
this as this one if easier for pupils to access."
