Tendering for a contract

Many businesses win work by tendering for contracts. That is, they bid against other companies to win new work by offering the best value for money. That's your task today!

It's time to form a team and get started on your tender bid. You'll take on key business roles and use your skills to work out:

  • What the client wants
  • What you'll do
  • What you'll need
  • How much you will charge, and what profit you'll make.

 

Work as a team to make sure you make all the right decisions. When you've finished you'll need to present your plans. You can also think about important topical business issues, like fair trade, sustainability and the current economic climate.
